Terms of Services

Please read carefully the various terms and conditions of use of this site before browsing its pages.

IMPORTANT: security

We feel obliged to remind you that our smaller items (rings, necklaces, etc.) should not be left in the hands of children or persons under tutelage to prevent them from swallowing them (choking hazard) or injuring themselves with them. A great attention must also be paid to our sharp items, which must not be left in the hands of children or persons under tutelage to prevent them from injuring themselves with them. Adults must also be careful not to swallow or injure themselves with our products.

ARTICLE 1: SCOPE OF APPLICATION

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales concluded through the website http://egyptian-history.com.

ARTICLE 2: ORDERS

Automatic registration systems are considered as proof of the nature and content of the order. Egyptian History™ confirms the acceptance of the customer's order to the e-mail address provided by the customer. The sale will be concluded as from the validation by Egyptian History™ of the payment of the order, i.e. the date of validation of the payment for orders paid online by credit card or the date of receipt of payment by check. Egyptian History™ reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute regarding payment for a previous order.

ARTICLE 3: AVAILABILITY OF ARTICLES

As long as our offers and their prices are visible on the site, they are valid. The availability indicated at the time of consultation of the site by the customer remains dependent on the state of stock at Egyptian History™ and of course at the suppliers.

To create our showcase and our sales catalogue, we work with databases, enriched according to the information provided by our suppliers. This database contains more than a hundred items, all of which are not stored in our reserves and our offer is then conditioned on the availability of items from suppliers.

Only the definitive rupture of an item with our suppliers results in its deletion from our sales offer. In other cases, a new order within a certain period of time remains possible.

When there is an unavailability on an ordered product, the customer is informed by email or on the invoice of the shipped products in the case of an order of several items.

Order delivery deadline: when the order is placed and on the order acknowledgement, a delivery time is communicated to the customers. It is calculated by adding the availability time of the longest product to the delivery time of the mode of transport selected by the customer.
From the placing of the order, to its dispatch, the customer has the possibility to cancel his order.

Features:

Pre-order items: articles to be published are available on the website http://egyptian-history.com in pre-order. This reservation is made with the indication of a release date announced by the publisher at the time of the opening of the reservation phase. This release date may be changed at any time by the publisher, who is solely responsible for the marketing of his product.

In all cases, Egyptian History™ endeavours, from the date of final sale, to ship the items to customers who have booked, up to the stock provided by the publisher for the day of release.

ARTICLE 4: PRICE

The prices indicated in euros are deemed to be net, excluding shipping costs. This price includes the price of the products, handling, packaging and storage costs. They are subject to change at any time without notice, knowing that the items will be invoiced on the basis in effect at the time the order is placed. All orders are invoiced in euros and payable in euros. Any customs duties or local taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient.

ARTICLE 5: SHIPPING COSTS

The shipping costs include a contribution towards the costs of preparation, packaging and postage. Remember to group all your items on a single order. We will not be able to group two separate orders and shipping costs will be charged for each of them.

ARTICLE 6: PAYMENT

You have several payment methods at your disposal that offer maximum security guarantees. You can pay:

- By credit card or private card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard) or directly on the site, in the payment form proposed during the ordering process (secure entry by SSL encryption), by entering the type of card, the number of your card without space between the numbers, the control number (located on the back of your card) as well as the validity date.

- By PayPal Payment

You have different payment methods and you can even benefit from credit card payment facilities.

Payment is made on the secure bank servers of our partners. This means that no banking information about you is transmitted via the http://egyptian-history.com website.

ARTICLE 7: DELIVERY

We deliver to your home or to a relay point. The delivery time includes the time of preparation of the package to which is added the time of delivery. Egyptian History™ delivers worldwide. The buyer is informed by email of the different stages of the follow-up of his order: the preparation and delivery stages.

The delivery time includes the preparation time and delivery by our carrier. The announced delivery time of 10 to 20 days is valid as soon as the buyer receives the email of the delivery of the order. The delivery time of (announced by the carrier) does not commit Egyptian History™ to a longer period.

ARTICLE 8: GUARANTEE - RETURNS - REFUNDS – RETRACTATION

The items provided by http://egyptian-history.com are new and guaranteed against any defect. They are identical to those of traditional retail and come from all the publishers and suppliers listed.

If an item is defective or non-compliant, the buyer has 15 working days from receipt of the items to request an exchange or refund. If the fifteen (15) day period normally expires on a Saturday, Sunday or statutory or non-working day, it is extended until the next business day.

The customer must return the new or unconsumed items in their entirety and in their original, intact packaging, accompanied by all possible accessories, instructions for use and documentation (in their original cellophane packaging imperatively and with the corresponding invoice). In such a situation, the buyer must send proof of the defect(s) to contact@egyptian-history.com (description and photos attached).

In case of exercise of the right of withdrawal, Egyptian History™ is required to refund the sums paid by the customer, without charge, with the exception of return costs. The refund is due within a maximum of 14 working days from the date of receipt of the returned package(s).

The return shipping costs are then at your expense.

In the event of a refund, we guarantee that it will be made within 14 days of the date of receipt of the returned package. No cash on delivery will be accepted for any reason whatsoever.

ARTICLE 9: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP - TRANSFER OF RISK
